AHIP is one of the most recognized certification platforms that offer the Medicare + Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (MFWA) certification required to have by the majority of Medicare Carriers. AHIP Certifications must be done yearly for both new and veteran agents and cost $175. It is an open book test with available training online. You do get two hours to answer the

Fifty questions on the test. A 90% or higher is considered passing, and you only receive three

opportunities to pass the exam in a year.

This policy protects you from any errors or omissions that may occur in your work. E&O is sometimes called malpractice insurance. Our agency recommends NAPA to all of our new agents. We recommend $1M/$3M limits on your policy, as this is the typical requirement for most carriers.
